Robert Peake

Quaderni

Notebooks.

Working notes, sketches, and investigations across the things I’m currently making, learning, or thinking through. Kept in plain markdown and version control; published here as a companion to robertpeake.com, which remains the front door for finished work.

The name follows Leonardo’s quaderni — the loose collection of notebooks in which he mixed observation, calculation, design, and fragment without separating disciplines. The form suits how I actually work: a poem next to a circuit diagram next to a woodblock print. Polish belongs on the main site; this is the bench.

What you’ll find here

Material here is in motion. Some of it will land on robertpeake.com once it’s settled; some will stay here as reference; some will be wrong and get rewritten in place.

Finding things

The collection is currently flat. As notebooks accumulate, expect topical sections — each with its own index — linked from this page.
